No blossom, promise

Posted in: Digital, Photography|8 April, 20111 Comment

I picked such a lovely week to have off work – record-breakingly hot I’ll have you know! Crazily I promised a blossom-photo-free post didn’t I… I’ll be honest, there’s slim pickings in that case, the stuff is everywhere and just so pretty!

Look at this naughty boy and girl – that’s watercress they’re scoffing, my watercress! The same watercress I bought in the farmshop and cooked in am omlette for my tea.

Ahhh, look who else is around at the moment; little woolly ambassadors for sprintime…

…and their mama (hey, pop that tongue back in please, madam)…

OK, I’m clutching at straws a bit now photo-wise. I’m very tempted to show you some more blossom. No, I will be strong – here are some logs, yes, logs!

There, I did it, not one petal in sight. For now. I’m warning you though, I have a stack full of Polaroids that need scanning and I think we all know what they’re going to be of.

Bovine beauties

Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn’t specialise in cow photography! I think that might be a niche too far though, it’s just that they’re so sweet and docile looking and they wander freely through the woods so you get to know them quite well, remember this chap?

He is still as cute as a button, he’s a bit cheeky though – I asked if he minded me taking his photo and this was the response…

Further down the road, waiting at a junction I spotted another chap, chomping away in the heather – he was much more sensible though and posed beautifully for me. Love that ginger hair!

The leaves are on the verge of being spectacular but for now I will focus my attention on these lovelies.

Horse power

I can’t think of any of those wordy things to say today, so here are a couple of ponies snapped on last weeks jaunt to the New Forest.

Oh, there is one thing to say – I won a competition! More about that when I get my (tasty, tasty) prize though.

Oh, and here’s another one of Edward*, because I love him so much…

*In answer to Leonie, he whispered his name to me whilst you were creeping up on those other cows :)
