My favourite christmas ornament. His antlers are looking a bit wonky but I think that adds to his charm.

The house is now officially christmassy – this star is in the front window – that’s as far as outside decorations go in our household.
See those net curtains – they’re the I have ever owned in my life! I much prefer a window to be bare but I was beginning to feel like a monkey at the zoo (well, more so).

If in doubt, a sunset is always a good bet as far as subject matter goes. Xmas decks have finally been dragged from loft today so expect some twinkly bokeh moments soon!

Fruit is so very well behaved when you need a photographic model.
I finished work today for the holidays – not back until the 11th Jan – that’s a decade away!

During December the city centre is filled with the wonderful smells of a huge german market which is fantastically christmassy – there’s also this lovely carousel…

Yes, these lillies have seen better days! I like to think that it’s very bohemian to have dead flowers in the house though – plus I was overly-influenced by Morrissey in my youth.
I’ve done a Polaroid time-lapse thing with these flowers too – will hopefully get them scanned and uploaded over the weekend.

I was blossom-mad during the springtime and now I find myself berry-mad doring the winter months. This tree is really quite spooky looking though – I think it’s the shape of the branches.
