Whilst I’m all about embracing the here and now, I can understand how certain seasons might annoy some people. Certainly if waiting for buses/trains/lifts is anything to go by…
- Summer: Too hot. Too many sweaty armpits. Too many bees. Not enough bees.
- Winter: Too cold. Too dark. Too many TV Christmas specials. Auld Lang Sine.
- Autumn: Too many leaves to sweep up. Too close to winter. Too many pumpkins and/or witches.
- Spring: Not Spring, Spring is perfection! It appears from the pit of wintry darkness in a blaze of technicolor and revs the motors of every living thing on (this side of) the planet!
Being rather fond of a camera or two I tend to go a bit nuts when the pink petally stuff makes an appearance. And now, thankfully, the craziness can commence; Spring is here!
I love instant film cameras – here are just a few springtime favourites…
Magnolia – Polaroid SX-70 + 600 edge-cut film
Quince blossom – Polaroid Spectra + 1200 film
Japan – Fuji Instax Mini 25
See you tomorrow x
I’m blogging Every Day in May – let me know if you are too!
