Possibly I’m still a bit intoxicated from yesterday’s office party (oh, my head), or maybe, just maybe some genuine christmas spirit has seeped its way into my soul – either way though I’m feeling really rather festive and jolly right now; so take that you crazy world, you – you can get as crazy and mixed up as you like but it won’t stop me from scoffing mince pies for breakfast!
Maybe all this jolliness is because there’s no more work for me now until January 2013 – woot, woot! I took great delight in saying ‘see you next year’ to anyone in the office who cared to make eye contact with me. It wasn’t annoying at all, it was hilarious.
I love Christmas – I’m a traditional girl at heart; I still secretly love the last-minute, frantic christmas eve shopping along with all the other panicky (drunken and/or crying souls). I always buy way, way too much cheese – I mean serious amounts. I get driven to teary swearing by the knotted-up fairy lights. And oh, then there’s the drunken gift wrapping session(s) – a personal highlight of the whole season if I’m honest.
So how festive are you feeling right now on a scale of 1-10? I’d say I’m about a 7.

I’m about the same, I can imagine I’ll be a 10 once the weekend is here though and work is over. Also, theres no such thing as too much cheese haha :)
